Close a collateral
After you have activated the desired products, you can get started by creating a collateral.
Process Overview
1. Initiate Closing
Initiates the closing of the collateral. If you like to handle a claim via Zinsli, you need to provide the claim amount and files like pdf's, which clearly document the costs incurred. The rest of the collateral amount will be paid out to the tenant.
Claims can also be handled outside of Zinsli. For Insurance products, they must be handled externally.
In such cases, initiate the closing only after the claims have been settled. Do not communicate the claim amount and files via Zinsli for these cases.
2. Update Closing Information
If the tenant rejects the closing, you can update the closing information and initiate the closing again.
If the tenant still does not accept the closing, the deposits gets moved to the closing-dispute state.
